The Shepardson family: a record of the line of Zephaniah Shepardson, Guilford, Vermont

These are notes about a King family that I am not sure of a family relationship to.  I have been told that this Thomas King can not be the father to my Victoria King because there are papers that mention children and she was not mentioned.  I however do not feel this is proof.  I take it a bit the same as if someone were Not to mention a particular tree in the forest....does that mean the tree does not exist?

Thomas H. King was born pre 1820 Crawford Co. Pa-listed on the Census with his parents George W. & Mary Ford King. Grand son of Capt. Robert & Elizabeth McCullough King (very interesting Pa Archives on Capt. Robert) George W. & Mary King apparently died in area of Fountain Co. Indiana {1833} Marriages of three daughters found in Fountain Co. records. Another daughter found later in Johnson Co. Iowa. In the book- History of Johnson County Iowa -printed 1883- Page 609 -first church meetings held in Thomas King home - Page 599 -Alonzo Dennison returned to Illinois for brothers Joseph and George Denison [1838-1839} Page 693 Thomas King came to Iowa 1839 from Indiana- Page 617 Stage farm Cemetery burials and destruction of cemetery. Page 747-748 Denison information - Page 627-628 J. Shepardson great hunter- Page 918 J.J. Shepardson history.

Parents: George W. King & wife Mary Ford were on 1820 Crawford Pa Census. They moved about 1826 down river (believe on Wabash Illinois Census.) Then on up river to Fountain Co Illinois where George W. King died in 1833. Three daughters married in Fountain Co 1835-1836-1837. Son Thomas King married to Louisiana Shepardson in Muskingum Ohio in 1838. They lived in Johnson Co. Iowa 1840-1844 Census-had two sons:
Parents of James Leonard King & George W. King were Thomas H. King & Louisana King. Thomas H King died Dec. 28, 1845 Johnson Co. Iowa. His wife Louisana died Jan 1846 leaving James Leonard & George W. King orphans. James Moore was the administrator.
Thomas H King was son of George W & Mary Ford King of Ind-Pa.
Thomas H King was grandson of Capt. Robert & Elizabeth McCullough King Pa-Ireland and Thomas & Hopeful Bucklew Ford NJ.
His sisters were:
Savannah King - John Parrott
Rebecca King - James Moore
Nancy King -James Kingen
Mary King -Samuel Nixon
Believe also unknown brother? Where was George King buried? What happened to mother Mary Ford King? Appreciate any information on this family. Doris

Hi, I am from the line of Louisiana Shepardson (daughter of Jared & Matilda Shepardson)that married Thomas King in Muskingum Ohio 1838. They had two sons before Thomas died Dec. 1845 and Louisiana died Jan. 1846. They were buried in Stage Farm Cemetery Johnson County Iowa. (The farm sold and the new owner removed the markers and plowed & planted the cemetery) Now there are few records for the Cemetery.
A John Keeler had lived on the farm and is buried there also. His son Edward Keeler married Rosanna King (widow with two daughters)1850 Johnson Co. Iowa. This led to the confusion that Louisiana Shepardson had married Thomas King (and Edward Keeler- that the two girls were Thomas Kings-False.)
The 1844 Johnson Co Census show Thomas & Louisiana had two sons (George W. 1841 and James L. 1843 Johnson Co Iowa)
I do not know how Rosanna King Keeler is connected to the Shepardson line or if she is? A James M. King was also listed on the 1844 Johnson Co, Iowa Census (maybe Rosannas family)-I have not found them later.
I appreciate all info on these lines that will help get the records right. Thank you, Doris

Hi, I have Edward Keeler married Rosanah King 1850 Johnson Co. Iowa. (Believe his parents John and Anna Day Keeler of Clear Creek Johnson Co. Iowa 1844 Census)
Rosanah was a widow with two King daughters- Victoria and Martha. (A James M. King was listed on 1844 Census Old Man Creek Johnson Co. Iowa)-not found later.
Edward had younger siblings living with he and Rosanah.
I believe Rosanah King connected to Thomas & Lousiana King that died Dec. 1845-Jan 1846 Big Grove Johnson Co. Iowa. I would like to compare information on these lines. Doris
