My name is Jason Comer.   I have been involved in trimming and shoeing horses for nearly a decade.  I was born and raised in Oregon, U.S.A. -GOD's Country!  So a tid bit about me: I grew up near a thoroughbred and quarter horse ranch, tack, and race track in Waterloo near the Santiam river.  Growing up with some of the toughest people and finest horseman in the northwest corner of this country.  Their trainer and owner, Bill Kagee, sparked my fire and desire to trim and properly care for some of the fastest hooves this side of the Mississippi river. Sue Utley and owner / trainer told me to go to school and we could together be a part of horse racing history .  I took Farrier Science at Corvallis where instructor Larry Bewley and his team instructed me and took me under his wing shoeing some of the finest pleasure and barrel horses in the state. I then showed up 9 months later a certified farrier and they put me to work .  I also learned a lot about natural horsemanship; the Strasser trim and Pete Ramey from near by master farrier Dan Rash, local legend. After 5 years on this race team I decided to slow down the pace and help other horses move to their GOD given best. Since learning more and more I desire to serve your horses hooves and together help your horse do his or her best.
