Boulder County

On this 29th day of June AD 1878 personally appeared before me Thomas Danford, County Clerk of the County of Boulder, in the State of Colorado, and the officio Clerk of the County Commissioners Court of said County the same being a Court of Record having a Seal. John Virden, whom I certify to be respectable and entitled to credit, and who being duly sworn by me according to Law declares, that he is the oldest child of William and Martha Virden, that he was born at Winchester....in the State of Kentucky on the 18th day of January AD 1816 and is now 62 years of age, that his father William Virden died at Waterloo, in the County of Black Hawk, Sate of Iowa on the 27th day of March AD 1855. That the said Martha Virden was the only wife of William Virden, and that she has not remarried since his death.

Subscribed in my presence by John Virden and by him sworn to before me this 29th day of June AD 1878.
